Meeting point, start and route

• Date: Saturday, 19 September 2026.
• Start and opening rally: 13:00 in front of the Rathaus (city hall), Berliner Straße 100, Willy-Brandt-Platz side.
• Opening: The start begins with a rally and speeches. The patron of CSD Offenbach, Lord Mayor Dr. Felix Schwenke, will also address us with words of welcome.
• March: 13:00 to 16:00.
• Route as per official order: Rathaus / Willy-Brandt-Platz → Kaiserstraße → Bismarckstraße → Waldstraße → Bieberer Straße → Mathildenplatz (interim rally) → Mathildenstraße → Austraße → Mainstraße → Herrnstraße → Büsingpark.
• Closing rally: 16:00 to 21:00 at Büsingpark.

Binding conditions set by the City of Offenbach

• The opening rally takes place in front of the Rathaus, Berliner Straße 100, Willy-Brandt-Platz side. The demonstration follows the fixed route; the closing rally takes place at Büsingpark.
• All entrances and exits of adjacent buildings as well as escape and emergency routes must be kept clear at all times.
• Before the rally begins, participants will be informed about the restrictions that apply to them.
• Stewards are marked with white armbands reading “Ordner”. They must be of legal age and carry a valid ID card or passport, to be shown on request.
• Dogs are not permitted during the assembly. Trained assistance dogs are exempt if their assignment to a specific participant and the necessity can be proven.
• Flags, banners and hand-held signs may only be attached to poles of a maximum length of 2 m. Poles must be made of softwood or plastic and may not exceed 2 cm in diameter.
• Volume must be limited so that no disproportionate noise nuisance arises. The emission limit of 85 dB(A) at 0.5 m in front of the nearest residential building must not be exceeded.
• During police loudspeaker announcements, your own loudspeakers, music and other contributions must be stopped immediately.

Do’s: How you help make the demo safe and enjoyable

• Look out for each other: Stay together as a group, agree on meeting points and support people who need help.
• Stay peaceful and respectful: The CSD is a political demonstration for visibility, equal rights, diversity and solidarity. Discrimination, harassment, threats and violence have no place here.
• Follow instructions: Please observe the instructions of the demo leadership, the stewards and the police.
• Turn to the contact persons: You can recognise our stewards by their white armbands. The awareness team wears purple vests and is on duty throughout the whole event.
• Think about health and weather: Bring enough water, sun or rain protection, any medication you need and comfortable shoes.
• Ask before taking photos and videos: Not everyone wants to be publicly visible. Only photograph or film others with their consent.
• Communicate sensitively: Respect people’s names, pronouns and boundaries. If you are unsure, ask respectfully.
• Get help instead of escalating: In case of disruptions, queerphobic incidents or conflicts, please do not get into confrontations yourself — approach the stewards, the awareness team or the police.

Don’ts: What you should avoid

• Do not bring weapons, dangerous objects, pyrotechnics, fireworks, flares or open fire.
• Do not carry protective weapons or protective equipment that is evidently intended to fend off enforcement measures.
• Do not cover your face or prevent your identity from being established.
• Do not wear uniforms, parts of uniforms or similar clothing as an expression of a shared political stance if this could have an intimidating effect.
• Do not display hate messages, discriminatory symbols, calls for violence or content that is contemptuous of human dignity.
• Do not engage in blockades, provocations or confrontations of your own with troublemakers.
• Do not bring dogs; trained assistance dogs whose necessity can be proven are exempt.
• Do not carry glass bottles or bulky objects that could endanger others or block routes.
• Do not leave any litter behind. The area used must be left clean.
• Do not use music, banners or actions in a way that interferes with announcements, safety instructions or emergency routes.

General advice for participants

• Know your limits: Look after yourself, take breaks and say clearly when something becomes too much for you.
• Respect the limits of others: No means no. Closeness, hugs, photos, conversations or touch require consent.
• Stay responsive: Make sure you do not endanger yourself or others through alcohol or other substances.
• No drugs: Do not consume illegal drugs, do not bring drugs with you and do not pass substances on to others.
• Watch your drinks and belongings: Do not leave drinks, bags or valuables unattended.
• Arrive together, leave together: If possible, move in groups, look out for your friends and agree on meeting points.
• Report discrimination: Racism, queerphobia, sexism, ableism, antisemitism, transphobia and any form of harassment have no place here. Report incidents to the awareness team, the stewards or emergency personnel.
• Don’t look away: If you notice that someone is being harassed, pressured or hurt, get support and do not put yourself in danger.

Advice for walking groups

• Please arrive at the starting area in good time and keep your group together.
• If possible, name a responsible contact person who can be reached during the demo.
• Banners, signs and flags are welcome if they can be carried safely. Please observe the rules for poles: maximum 2 m long, softwood or plastic, maximum 2 cm in diameter.
• Keep emergency and movement routes as well as entrances and exits of adjacent buildings clear.
• Support traffic-control measures by the police and emergency services. Fire brigade, ambulance service and police must be able to get through or drive up at all times.
• If participants leave your group, need help, or if violations or riots occur, please inform the stewards, the awareness team or the police immediately.

Info stands at Büsingpark

The rally at Büsingpark takes place from 16:00 to 21:00. As things stand, there are no specific municipal requirements on what an info stand must have. To keep the space safe and usable, the following basic rules apply:

• Set-up: possible from 11:00.
• Dismantling: between 21:00 and 23:00.
• Vehicle access: On 19 Sept, access is only possible via Herrnstraße. The police will open the access barrier for people who need to drive in.
• Contact persons: CSD Offenbach will have contact persons on site.
• Keep stand areas safe: Make sure that cables, materials, boxes and personal items do not create tripping hazards.
• Secure gazebos: Gazebos must be secured against wind, e.g. with suitable weights, guy lines or other stable fastenings. Please do not use fastenings that block paths or endanger others.
• Keep escape and emergency routes clear: Access roads, paths, entrances and exits as well as escape routes must be kept clear at all times.
• Observe fire safety: No open flames, no pyrotechnics, and do not use or store highly flammable materials unattended.
• Keep an eye on the weather: In the event of severe weather warnings or dangerous weather conditions, suitable measures must be taken so that participants are not endangered. Gazebos, banners and loose materials must be secured or taken down immediately.
• Cleanliness: The area used must be left clean and tidy. Soiling must be removed immediately; otherwise cleaning costs may be charged to the organiser.
• Respectful conduct: The same applies at the info stands: no discrimination, no harassment, no pushy approaches and no content that degrades people.

If something happens

• In case of uncertainty, conflicts or incidents: approach the stewards with white armbands or the awareness team in purple vests.
• In case of violations of the conditions, criminal offences or riots by individual non-peaceful participants, the stewards and the assembly leadership will inform the police immediately.
• In case of acute danger or medical emergencies: contact the police, ambulance service or other emergency personnel on site immediately.
• Do not put yourself in danger and look out for the safety of others.

Together to the CSD After Party at Hafen 2

If you do not want to go to the CSD After Party at Hafen 2 alone, you can meet at the awareness stand at fixed times. The exact times and meeting point will be announced on site. From there, people can set off together and look out for each other.

Advice for the CSD After Party

• Celebrate respectfully: The party should be a safe, solidary and enjoyable place for everyone. Be friendly with one another.
• Consent always applies: Dancing, flirting, photos, touch or closeness require consent. If a person says no or moves away, respect that.
• Know your own limits: Listen to your body, take breaks, drink water and get support if you are not feeling well.
• Respect the limits of others: Do not pressure anyone into conversations, drinks, closeness, photos or activities.
• No drugs: Do not consume illegal drugs, do not bring drugs with you and do not pass substances on to others.
• Watch your drinks: Do not leave drinks unattended and do not accept open drinks from strangers.
• No discrimination: Queerphobia, racism, sexism, ableism, transphobia, antisemitism, insults, threats and harassment will not be tolerated.
• Get help: If you feel uncomfortable or observe a situation that is not okay, approach the awareness team, the organisers, security or staff on site.
• Get home safely: Plan your way home in advance if possible, go together or let trusted people know when you set off.
